On June 19th, 2024 an idea became a reality with the release of the ‘I AM #19’ special edition jersey. The press release announcing the special edition shirt and campaign honors and celebrates Juneteenth and invites all to participate. The pre-game jersey launched across the entire MLS league, and was worn by players, clubs and fans during the games played from June 15th-June 19th.
