LOS ANGELES, CA — July 11, 2026 — Design studio and publishing house Threadline Ventures announced today the official release of "The World Cup: 1930 – 2026," an expansive, highly complex archival-quality print documenting every match, bracket path, and champion in the history of the world's greatest sporting event.

Fine Art Poster of The World Cup Tournament History. Every Match, Every Champion.
The World Cup Poster. 23 Tournaments illustrated from 1930-2026.

The newly unveiled poster maps out 96 years of global football history across 22 consecutive tournaments, utilizing a bespoke, interconnected circular-notation layout. From the inaugural 1930 tournament in Uruguay to the dramatic 2022 finals in Qatar, each bracket is beautifully tracked through specialized node diagrams that integrate country flags, goal paths, and point progressions. The design culminates in an open layout for the historic upcoming 2026 North American edition.

"We wanted to build something that moves far past traditional sports merchandise," said the Creative Director at Threadline Ventures. "This isn't just data visualization—it's a typographic tapestry of human triumph, heartbreak, and culture. We designed it for people who love the sport but also demand sophisticated, museum-quality aesthetics in their living spaces."
